This is another episode of English translation from a Chinese love poem. In fact, I feel that there are many different approach and views on the topic of love from different races, countries and places. As such, the long history of the Chinese language is one of my favorite in terms of love poems.

Well it’s not composed by me and I’ve to give the credit to whoever wrote this. Simple in words but sophisticated in meaning. This is the classic and complex art of poetry. So here it is- The remedy of love.

爱的秘诀
The remedy of love

爱是快快乐乐 ,
Is to be filled with happiness,

不是多愁善感。
And not full of sadness.

我不爱得太深 ,
I don’t delved into love too much,

只要爱得太浅。
Love till just as such.

爱是笑口常开 ,
Love is full of laughter,

不是愁眉苦脸。
And not anger.

我不爱得太近 ,
I don’t love at near distance,

只要爱得太远。
Only love at far.

我是多情情人 ,
I’m an emotional person,

喜欢以眼还眼。
I love to flirt back.

眼里意乱情述 ,
With flowing emotions hidden behind my eyes,

心里迷途知返。
But my heart lost in the isle.

我愿有始无终
I hope for a beginning with an end,

我愿有增无减。
I wished for increasing love like countless sands.

我愿爱得沉默 ,
I remain in love silently,

沉默就是呐喊。
Silence represents my thoughts eternally.
