It's obvious it's written by a playa. Why should a woman with standards be considered "desperate?" I see nothing wrong with talking about marriage and children if that is what someone wants for their life. Why should she waste her time with men who only want sex? As for that last dig about careers, that's just lame. The person who wrote this obviously feels threatened by women who are strong and know what they want out of life...so they gotta cut them down by calling them desperate. Besides, there are plenty of men out there who are desperate. All those 40 and 50 somethings who chasing younger women who are only golddiggers who have their eye on his wallet.
